I was driving home today and came upon a Tesla Model S 85 going the same way as myself. We got to a four-way stop and he was a car behind me and to the left, and the driver decided to reverse. Right before he started backing up (only about a foot or two, not sure why he moved), I noticed a set of small white LEDs come on below the bumper area on the front, where fog lights would be (the lowest two lights in the above photo, not mine, obviously), and they went off once he stopped and seem to engage Drive. Is that a normal function for a Model S, or were the fog lights perhaps coming on due to the dimness (though the headlights didn’t come on, just the arc-shaped DRLEDs)?
